The Memory Workshop, an Early Memory Loss Program, provides a forum for individuals who do not required medical supervision in the early stages of memory loss to obtain support and participate in programs.
A peer-to-peer educational program for adults with
Mild Cognitive Impairments (MCI) or early stage Dementia.
As leaders in geriatrics and dementia care, Mozaic Senior Life has created a Memory Workshop designed to provide support and a connection with others experiencing the same diagnosis.
This program uniquely serves individuals in the early stages of the disease, including:
• Dementia education
• Brain games and cognitive exercises
• Health and wellness presentations
• Group discussions
• Live entertainment
• Personal goal setting
• Volunteer activities
• Outings to museums, movies, etc
Members may also participate in the program virtually and will receive individual training to be successful with the technology.
For more information, contact us at (203) 396-1021 or memoryworkshop@mozaicsl.org.
Fees for the program are maintained at an affordable level to facilitate participation for everyone who could benefit from its programs and services. Fees may be paid privately by a client/client’s family for this program. There are scholarships that, as a non-profit organization, we seek each year for the benefit of clients. Clients can attend the program from one to two days a week or attend our virtual sessions from the comfort of their home, and pay only for days attended.
Mozaic Adult Day Programs are funded in part through the generous support of community partners and individual supporters like you.
