Mozaic Senior Life, on The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg campus, is a state-of-the-art campus, designed to create the look and feel of home and is based on the Household Model of care. The selection of the design was the result of years of research and is the first Household Model nursing home and assisted living community in Connecticut. Noted for excellence as the most comprehensive senior care provider in Southern Connecticut, Mozaic Senior Life is also a resource for the broader community.
We have partnered with the MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, to both name and dedicate a House to those living with Multiple Sclerosis. The Lawry MS House is part of the skilled nursing community, and primarily serves those with MS who choose to live in this Household. The MS Society provides additional resources to support these individuals and their families.
The nursing home provides long-term care including Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Each of the 18 households have private rooms and bathrooms for 14 individuals. Each household has shared kitchen, living room, dining room, den and balcony spaces.
One-bedroom apartments and memory care studios for individuals and couples. Meals, fitness center membership (if medically qualified) and access to campus activities.
Short-term care post-hospitalization in three dedicated houses with private rooms and courtyards.
Supervised nursing, social activities, recreation, meals, personal care; transportation available.
Physical, occupational and speech therapy; exercise programs.
An 18,000 sq.ft. full service health club with indoor pool, cardio, yoga, spinning, etc. Dedicated entrance and parking for the community.
